Marvel Clarie Timm, 70, Whitewater was called home to heaven, surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 13, 2018.

Marvel was born on June 18, 1948, in Elkhorn, WI to Reinhold and Clara (Gehrke) Hoeppner.  She graduated from Whitewater High School in 1966. Marvel received her Bachelor’s degree in Education from UW-Whitewater.   On October 10, 1970, she married Charles Timm at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Whitewater.  Marvel worked for Kari’s Sew Unique for 30 years.  She also substitute taught in the area and taught summer school in Jefferson for many years.  Marvel was an avid quilter and seamstress. She was always involved in her children’s extra-curricular activities, and she and Chuck would take their family on many camping trips. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Whitewater.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; children, Kara Timm, O’Fallon, MO, Jason (Ticha) Timm, Orlando, FL, Matthew (Lindsi) Timm, Waterford, WI, Joshua (Courtney) Timm, O’Fallon, MO; grandchildren, Alicia (Jack) Berg, Charlie and  Andrew Timm, Laurel and Alton Timm; sister, Jane (Bill) Wagie, Fort Atkinson, WI; sister-in-law, Barbara Hoeppner, Antigo, WI.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Hoeppner.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at 1:00 pm at St. John Lutheran Church, 116 S. Church St. Whitewater, WI 53190.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.  As an expression of sympathy, you may wish to consider memorials to Team Marvel at Pancan.org through their donation link.
