#FlashbackFriday with the Historical Society: Dining Room circa 1900

It’s time once again for #FlashbackFriday with the Whitewater Historical Society.

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday. Today’s photo is from the Scholl glass plate negative collection of turn-of-the-20th-century images. This view shows the interior of a home in Whitewater, specifically the dining room with the built-in cabinet of china probably used for special occasions like a Thanksgiving dinner. It may bring to mind your own Thanksgiving experiences at your grandma’s house or old photos showing family Thanksgiving celebrations from the 20th century.

Join us next week for more from the Whitewater Historical Society.
