Irene May Heederik, 90, Whitewater, passed away on Tuesday, September 01, 2020 at Fairhaven Senior Living in Whitewater, WI.

Irene was born on February 13, 1930 in Janesville, WI to Herbert and Mabel (Riggs) Eggleston. She graduated from Janesville High School in 1948. Irene worked as the head cook for Fairhaven Senior Living and retired after 22 years of service. She enjoyed playing board games and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children Larry Heederik, Fort Atkinson, Geraldine Heederik-Kincaid, Jefferson, Gary (Janet) Heederik, Lodi, CA, Terry (Mary) Heederik, Jefferson, Barry (Laurie) Heederik, Fort Atkinson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Kenneth (Florence) Eggelston, Adams Friendship, WI, Bob (Sandi) Eggelston, Florida; sister Lois (Charlie) Olds, Adams Friendship, WI; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Eileen Culver and her longtime partner Jack Schultz.

A private burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Whitewater, WI.

The family would like to thank Fairhaven Senior Living and St. Croix Hospice for all the love and compassion they showed to our mother.
