Whitewater Community Food Pantry’s Social Distancing Efforts Underway

The Whitewater Community Food Pantry will be open every Wednesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m. to noon in the “Old” Armory, 146 W. North Street. It serves those in need who live in the Whitewater Unified School District.

Because of guidance issued by health departments and the CDC as well as orders issued by Governor Evers, no more than 5 food pantry patrons are allowed on the second floor of the pantry at a time. When one person leaves the next in line will be allowed to go up. Food pantry patrons are asked to maintain an appropriate 6 foot social distance at all times from other food pantry patrons. Pantry volunteers assure patrons that they will do their best to serve everyone as quickly as possible and thank patrons for their support and adherence to safety protocols.
