In the past year we’ve heard much about the dangers, often tragic, of the effects of vaping on our youth. But what do we really know about the signs of vaping or drug use? Where can we get factual, timely information?

On Thursday, March 12 in the Fellowship Hall of First United Methodist Church, 145 S. Prairie Street, United Methodist Women are sponsoring an enlightening presentation by Frances Thomas, a Public Health Specialist with the Walworth County Department of Health and Human Services called “Hidden in Plain Sight.”

Frances will lead us through a mock, but realistic, child, tween, or teen scenario to help us understand the dangers of not knowing. This presentation is for ADULTS ONLY.

A light supper will be provided at 6:00 p.m., followed by the presentation at approximately 6:45 p.m. The public, both women and men, are welcome at both the supper and the presentation, and reservations are not needed. Just come! Whether we are parents, grandparents, or just concerned about Whitewater kids, let’s become better educated.
