Lauren Raymond Miller, 81, Whitewater passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Lauren was born on October 21, 1936, in Cold Spring Township to Joseph and Lois (Zimmerman) Miller.  He married Patricia Sarow on March 15, 1958, in Whitewater, WI.

Lauren worked on the Junie Piper farm prior to working for Nestles/Carnation in Jefferson for over 20 years.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and his children but most of all he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Pat; children, Lauren J (Mickie) Miller, Whitewater, Cindy (Steve) Garbe, Milton, Scott (Trudy) Miller, Melrose, WI, Julie Miller, Whitewater; grandchildren, Jamie Dowling, Jennifer (Josh) Gleaser, James  Sontag, Jessica (Mike Poehler) Sontag, Jeffery (Heather) Miller, Miranda Garbe; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Grayson, Brandon, Lincoln, Nora and Zeke; brother, Allen (Sandy) Miller, Evansville, WI; sisters, Pauline Fero, LaPine, OR, Joan Gunderson, Elkhorn, WI.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joe Miller and sister Darlene Dobson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Congregational-United Church of Christ, 133 S. Franklin St., Whitewater, WI 53190.  Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.  The family would like to thank Rainbow Hospice for their loving care.  As an expression of sympathy, you may wish to consider memorials to Rainbow Hospice.
