Kikkoman Grand Opening Celebration Open House

Join us in celebrating the opening of Kikkoman’s new plant in Jefferson, WI! This free event includes refreshments and activities for the whole family to enjoy. Activities include:
- Guided tours
- Omikuji (fortune slip) drawing
- Japanese name writing
- Games A live drawing exhibition by manga artist Mami Burmesch (aka Suke-maru)

In June 2024 Kikkoman broke ground in Jefferson on a $560 million plant which produces soy sauce and related seasonings such as teriyaki sauce. The plant is the company’s third, with one in Walworth and the other in California. It is planned to be a high-tech, energy efficient factory and was projected to create over 80 jobs
