The Greater Whitewater Committee is Set to Host Southern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission July 11

WHITEWATER—July 3, 2024—The Greater Whitewater Committee (GWC) is set to host Southern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, Deputy Director Ben Mckay, at the upcoming July meeting. Ben Mckay will be presenting on housing needs in Walworth County.

Ben McKay, Deputy Director, has been with the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission since June, 2004. He has led and facilitated long-range regional, county, and community-level planning efforts undertaken by the Commission during the last 20 years. Including the Regional Housing Plan and VISION 2050, Southeastern Wisconsin’s long-range land use and transportation plan. Ben received a Master of Urban Planning degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2003.

The GWC’s upcoming monthly meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 11th at 7 a.m. at 841 Brewhouse: 841 E Milwaukee St, Whitewater, WI 53190. The public is more than welcome to attend this meeting to hear more about Walworth County housing needs. If interested in attending, you must RSVP.
