#FlashbackFriday with the Historical Society: Aerial of Downtown circa 1960

It’s time once again for #flashbackfriday with the Whitewater Historical Society.

Today’s photo is an aerial view of primarily downtown Whitewater taken around 1960.

At the center is the old City Hall and just northeast is the Old Stone Mill, both demolished about 10 years later. Also, along Whitewater Street is the old Winchester and Partridge Manufacturing Company. Around this time, part of it housed the Coburn Company and it burned in the 1960s.

Join us next week for more from the Whitewater Historical Society.
