Paul Louis Underwood, 76, passed away February 21st, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his father Carl Paul and his mother Louise. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carolyn Ann, his three children, Michael Paul (Karla), Heidi Lynne Stewart (Michael), Jeffrey Carl (Candy), his brother Ron (Barbara), his grandchildren Kinsey Fournier, Alex Zalewski, Lauren and Nicholas Doedens, Maylin and Andrew Underwood, and his nieces Valerie Mitchell, Vicky Tasopulos, and nephew Steve Underwood.

Paul was born in Minneapolis, MN on October 26, 1941. He grew up in Rockford, IL, Springfield, OH, and graduated from Belmont High School in Dayton, OH, in 1959. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and played college football under coach Forrest Perkins. Paul served his country in the US Navy from 1963-1967 and was involved in the Arab-Israeli 6-Day war in June of 1967. After an honorable discharge from the Navy, he lived in Anacortes, WA where he learned the plumbing trade. His family moved to Whitewater, WI, in 1972 to live near his parents. There he founded his own company, Underwood Plumbing, and he was actively involved in the Lions Club and sponsored a local women’s softball team.

Claudine Henry, 92, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, formerly of Abilene, Texas, passed away on February 24, 2018 at Fairhaven in Whitewater.

She was born on January 29, 1926, to William Jasper and Mary Ann (Herring) Stuteville.

Claudine married Franklin Harold Henry on December 26, 1943, in Albany, Texas. They were happily married for 74 years. Claudine was an award-winning floral designer and dressmaker and worked as a ward clerk at Fairhaven with Franklin in her later years. She enjoyed playing cards, dominos, spending time with family. She was a long time member of Millard Community Church as well as a member of the Red Hat Society.
