The Whippets beat Evansville to notch their first win of the season. It was an exciting “come from behind” win, 22-21.

Evansville was called with a defensive face-mask penalty on the last play of regulation time. This gave Whitewater an extra play with the ball on the Evansville 6 yard line. Dylan Pease hit Julio Espinoza with a pass in the end zone for the 1-point win.
