The League of Women Voters – Whitewater Area welcomed the Whitewater City Manager, Cameron Clapper to deliver a State of the City address in the City Hall Council Chambers Thursday. A group of residents took this opportunity to become informed about the condition of our community and to learn about future projects and goals for the city of Whitewater. They also heard a presentation from the Whitewater Unified School District Administrator, Dr. Mark Elworthy who provided the opportunity to learn about what the District has done in the previous year and plans for the upcoming year. Also presenting was District Director of Business Services, Matthew Sylvester-Knudtson who covered the upcoming Operational Referendum which will be on the ballot on November 6th.
