Ghouls Night Out Brings Halloween Spirit and Community Engagement to Downtown Whitewater

Downtown Whitewater was filled with Halloween spirit on Thursday, October 29, as local businesses, residents, and visitors came together to celebrate Ghouls Night Out / Trunk-or-Treat.

The event, hosted by the Whitewater Chamber of Commerce, brought the community together for an evening of Halloween festivities, downtown exploration, and support for local businesses. Ghouls Night Out provided an opportunity for residents and visitors to discover downtown establishments, connect with local business owners, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of downtown Whitewater.

The City of Whitewater also collaborated on planning for the event, including helping to arrange a “trunk-or-treat” event on First Street, as part of the recently approved Downtown Activation Initiative. The Initiative is a program designed to enhance, beautify, and offer additional programming in the City’s downtown area.

Share your feedback! Whether or not you attended, the City wants to hear from you. Take our short Ghouls Night Out survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5S6N8CP, available on the City’s website at whitewater-wi.gov, by Monday, November 16.

Building Momentum for Downtown Whitewater

The City of Whitewater extends its appreciation to the participating businesses, community partners, volunteers, and residents who contributed to the event’s success.

Through the Downtown Activation Initiative, the City remains committed to supporting local businesses, encouraging community engagement, and creating a vibrant downtown destination throughout the year. More information on this program, including grant opportunities for businesses, can be found under the Downtown Activation Initiative section of the City’s website, whitewater-wi.gov.
