Rev. Jerry Wendt to be Recognized as Walworth County Fair Outstanding Senior Citizen

The Rev. Jerry Wendt will be recognized as one of four Walworth County Fair Outstanding Senior Citizens during the Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, September 2, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Peggy’s Park Stage at the Walworth County Fairgrounds.

The 177th Walworth County Fair will honor its 2026 Outstanding Senior Citizens at the Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Peggy’s Park Stage, Walworth County Fairgrounds.

Honorees for 2026

The following individuals have been recognized as Outstanding Senior Citizens for the 2026 fair:

  • Lynnelle Gramm
  • Jerry Wendt
  • Jim Boardman
  • Louis Lyndloff

These honorees are selected for their significant contributions to their organizations and the broader community, reflecting the fair’s commitment to recognizing dedicated senior citizens.

About the Award

The Outstanding Senior Citizen of Walworth County is sponsored by the Walworth County Fair and is open to anyone age 62 or older by September 2, 2026 who has not previously received the honor.
Nominees are recognized for:

  • Positive impact on the community
