D3football.com Ranks the Warhawks 12th in the Nation

D3Football.com recently released its top 25 rankings entering the 2026 season — and the Warhawks came in ranked No. 12 in the nation. The D3football.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches,  Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly. Points are awarded on a 25-24-23-22-etc. basis. The D3football.com Top 25 started in the 2003 season. 

UW-Platteville, which the Warhawks defeated last season 29-19, is ranked No. 6. UW-River Falls, winners of the Division III championship, lost superstar quarterback Kaleb Blaha and head coach Matt Walker, and is ranked No. 7.

UW-Oshkosh and UW-Stout are both unranked.

North Central (Ill.), runners-up to River Falls in the Stagg Bowl, is ranked atop the list.
