Publicity for an event taking place on Monday, August 26 from 2-7 p.m. at Ace Hardware, 1415 W. Main St., appears to have been almost exclusively on social media. There isn’t even a poster about the event at the store, and personnel who were working there on Sunday knew almost nothing about it. Here’s what we know:

The company’s primary model for selling their cookies is to travel the country with one or more food trucks, sometimes with a display of animatronic dinosaurs and other times, it appears, with transformers. In order to view the exhibit, everyone of all ages must purchase at least one cookie for $5. The company does offer an opportunity to help in their publicity and consequently earn a free cookie.
A number of Facebook posts regarding I Heart Cookie’s recent dinosaur displays in other Wisconsin cities are positive both in terms of the display and the cookies.
