DESCRIPTION:The Bassett House Spring Concert Series is Back! \n \nThe Whitewater Federation of Women’s Clubs (WFWC) invites you to attend the third concert in our annual Spring Concert Series.  \n \nFor this concert\, we are pleased to offer our first all-piano recital\, so piano lovers\, take note! This concert will feature the exceptional students of Diana Shapiro’s Piano Studio on Sunday\, May 13\, 2026. \n \nThe concert will be held at 1:00 PM at the Bassett House\, 708 W. Main Street\, Whitewater.  \n \nAdult ticket prices are $30. Student tickets (over 13 years old) are $15\, and child tickets (13 and under) are $10.  \nPlease make checks out to the WFWC and mail them to Linda Robinson at 957 W. Highland Street/Whitewater\, WI 53190. \n Alternatively\, you may pay via Paypal to the Whitewater Federation of Women’s Clubs. SUMMARY:Memorial Day Flag Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:Please join Lima 4-H Club as they carry on the tradition of remembering veterans that have died and are buried in Lima Center and Utters Corner Cemeteries in Lima Township.  Community members are encouraged to come to the Lima Center Cemetery (located on the northeast corner of Hwy 59 and Lima Center Road) for a 12:00pm Flag Ceremony on SATURDAY\, May 23\, 2026.  Club members have planned a brief ceremony to include presentation of the flag\, Pledge of Allegiance\, National Anthem and a short poem\, followed by the placing of flags at Veteran’s graves.  Light refreshments will be available for participants.  Upon completion those who wish may join the 4-H in placing flags at Veteran’s graves at Utters Corners Cemetery on W Townline Road (near the northwest corner of County Line Road and W Townline Road in Lima Township).
