WHS Tennis Has 2nd Sweep of Season

May 14 – WHITEWATER HIGH 7, RACINE PARK 0

Our team won the meet 7-0. This is our second sweep of the season. Racine Park only had four players today so we won our doubles matches by default. In singles, we played pretty solid and won handily across each of the flights. Slate Spear, Austin Kaja, and Nick Kuzoff typically play in our singles lineup and they took care of business without too much trouble. Weston Lema usually plays doubles, but had the chance to play #4 singles today. The first set was a little tight, but he was able to hit his stride by the end of the match and won the second set 6-0. It was nice to come out and play a solid tennis meet across the board. We will continue to build off this meet and improve going into Sub-Sectionals next week.
