Stephani Hoffmann is a Hometown Hero

Stephani Hoffmann has received the WUL Hometown Hero award “For donating her time and effort by helping to cook more than 5,000 meals at First United Methodist Church as part of the Whitewater Response thus giving families access to meals during COVID-19, and for helping to cook those meals while juggling a teaching job and continuing to bake for her City Market business.”

Her nomination included, “All this while still having a smile on her face and serving others. She is one of those unsung heroes and so glad to nominate her during these challenging times. Whitewater is very fortunate to have her in this community.”

WUL (Whitewater Unites Lives) is a locally-focused civil and human rights group that works to connect the people in our community and to create opportunities for all people to learn and support each other in our common humanity.
